Saflex Structural interlayer is a PVB interlayer designed for applications where interlayer rigidity and high glass adhesion requirements for laminated glass are critical. 

Thanks to the strength and stiffness of Saflex Structural interlayer, laminated glass can sustain higher loads or be made thinner while maintaining the same load capacity while keeping the same load and area as compared to conventional laminated glass. It is compatible with most glass types, including annealed, heat-strengthened, and fully tempered glass. Heat-strengthened glass combined with Saflex Structural interlayer offers advantages such as reduced optical distortion, resistance to thermal stress breakage, lower risk of spontaneous breakage, and good residual strength after breakage.
